80HD is a young DJ as well as a personal friend. His name derives from his ADHD diagnosis as a child. ADHD is a common disease that several people struggle with, especially while growing up. It is something that he must live with, but doesn’t let define him. His name is a reminder to others and himself that even though he will always be diagnosed with ADHD, he can still achieve his goals and live how he chooses. From there, the 80HD logo was born.
The design is meant to feel as though the logo is in constant motion. The repetition of the lines that surround the name create the feeling of a motion blur, especially when viewing at a distance.
