The Trap App
This project was developed as a comedic twist on what is referred to as the “the trap” in hip-hop and rap culture. “The Trap” was a term used to describe a place or area where drug deals occur. The concept of “the trap” is interesting as it describes both a physical location as well as the illegal actions that took place. This is where the term “Trap Music” stems from when referring to the genre of modern day, explicit rap music. The poster design below represents an app concept for drug dealers who are in need of help managing and operating their business in the trap.
